TTAS is publishing a series of informative booklets on trailer and towing related issues. The first, 'Amendments to the Tachograph Legislation', was published in October 1998 and is available for £20.00 plus £1.00 postage and packing (UK only - Overseas postage and packing available on request). 'Amendments to the Tachograph Legislation' details the August 1998 changes in the law and incorporates the relevant extracts of legislation together with a guide to drivers' hours. Referring to this booklet in his Daily Telegraph Agony Column on Saturday 28 November 1998 'Honest John' said "It sounds a lot to spend £21 on 15 pages - but if it saves a £1,000 fine for a tachograph offence it could be a sound investment. This change to the law could impose severe restrictions on autojumblers as well as those towing race cars behind vans."

'Amendments to the Tachograph Legislation' is the first in a planned series of booklets on topical issues. A second booklet is currently being written and is due to be published later this year..
